Mount Monadnock

Bea and I spent the weekend at Monadnock State Park in Jaffrey, NH. There are lots of trails indeed, but we pretty much just went to the summit as depicted. Not depicted is the little journey that we bumped into April Chambers and George on. Strange to bump into friends from far away, no?

Point of information: Mount Monadnock used to be heralded as the most climbed mountain in the world. This fact is debatable.

I think the most memorable part of the trip might have been eating burnt Jiffy Pop while hiding under the pick nick table during the rain storm. This is acceptable Eagle Scout behavior because I had prepared to hide underneath the table beforehand in case rain was to arrive.
